This provides short descriptions of legislative bills that are active before the Pennsylvania House of Representatives. The public is encouraged to post comments on these proposals. The bills with the most recent legislative actions (i.e. public hearings, committee votes, etc.) appear first. Many more bills may be found in the monthly Archives. H.B. 1144 (J. TAYLOR) This would repeal Act 415 of 1867, P.L. 440. This is an archaic act regulating public halls and amusements places in Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, and the cities of Allegheny.
